University police lieutenant dies suddenly
JONESBORO AR Jan 2 2018 — The university community extends sympathy to the family, friends and associates of Bill Brown, a lieutenant in the University Police Department. Brown died Saturday.
Brown was a 20-year veteran with University Police, which he joined in 1997. Highly trained in various aspects of law enforcement, Brown was certified as a conflict management specialist.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse posted on his Facebook page, “I was saddened to learn yesterday about the loss of one of our Red Wolves who serve on the #ThinBlueLine. Beth and I join Lt. Brown’s family and colleagues in mourning his passing,”
