Virginia man arrested for drugs, assaulting Dover Downs security officer
Dover DE July 29 2017 A Virginia man who passed out on a couch in the lobby of the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino, then took a swing at a security guard, was found to be in possession of almost 50 grams of PCP, Dover Police announced Thursday.
According to authorities, Courtney Hill, 34, of Norfolk, was found asleep on a couch in the lobby of the hotel around 1:17 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Police were called to the scene for a trespassing complaint when Hill allegedly struck a security officer.
A search of his person turned up a vial containing 47 grams of PCP, police said.
Hill was charged with Possession of PCP-Tier V quantity, possession with intent to deliver PCP, drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and offensive touching. He was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $57,000 cash bond.
