Wanted man shot and killed by police inside TN Walmart
TULLAHOMA, Tenn. December 30 2018 A wanted man has been shot and killed by Tennessee inside a Walmart store.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tullahoma Police spotted a man known to have an outstanding arrest warrant entering a Walmart store on N. Jackson Street.
According to Craig Northcott, District Attorney General serving Coffee County, Tullahoma police officers were attempted to serve the outstanding warrant on Mark Luttrell, Jr. around 11 p.m. Friday night inside the store.
Police said that they had received information that Luttrell was at the store.
At some point during the confrontation, Luttrell, 34, pulled a gun on officers.
One of the officers fired at Luttrell, striking him, according to the TBI. Luttrell was pronounced dead on the scene.
The TBI does not identify the officers involved in these types of incidents.
No other information was immediately released.
