Washington DC security rescues woman who fell into Potomac River

A security officer on patrol saved a woman who fell into the Potomac river at the District Pier.
Authorities in Washington DC say that the security officer spotted a woman in the water on Sunday, Oct. 16th, and immediately ran and rescued her.
DC fireboats, police, and EMS were dispatched to the scene where the woman was assessed.
The adult woman had no injuries.
Local authorities did not release any further information about the incident or the hero security officer.
