West Chester OH police charge man with voyeurism at Target store
West Chester OH October 12 2018
A Mason man was arrested Tuesday by West Chester Police about two months after women reported someone taking photos or video up their skirts inside a Target.
Brian A. Dente, 42, was charged with voyeurism, a misdemeanor, according to an arrest report.
Barb Wilson, a spokeswoman for West Chester, said “police made contact with the individual near Target at the time of the incident, but had no probable cause to make an arrest at the time.”
An investigation of Dente’s phone “uncovered evidence that offered probable cause for the arrest,” she added.
Dente turned himself in to police at a designated time, Wilson said.
The two women reported the incidents a few hours apart on July 28.
Target, at the time, released a statement affirming the importance of guest safety and security.
A few weeks later, on Sept. 4, a West Chester woman told police a contractor captured images up her skirt while working in her home.
