Woman accused of assaulting library security personnel

Winnipeg police seized a folding knife from a woman in a downtown skywalk Saturday morning.
The 45-year-old woman had set off the metal detector at the Millennium Library and was denied entry by security.
She allegedly yelled, threatened and pulled out the knife at two male security guards, the police service stated in a news release.
Police were contacted and the downtown foot patrol located a suspect at about 10:50 a.m. Nov. 30 in the skywalk.
She faces two charges of assault with a weapon and one charge of possession of a weapon.
She was released on an undertaking.
