Woman arrested after shooting at security with BB gun

A 23-year-old woman is facing charges after an incident Thursday morning where a security guard was shot at by a pellet gun.
Regina police say officers were called to the 1900 block of Saskatchewan Drive around 6:40 am after getting reports of a weapons call.
They say the woman with the weapon shot the firearm at the security guard many times after getting into a fight.
The guard managed to wrestle the weapon away with the woman being detained until police arrived. When doing so, they found the woman had another firearm in her possession along with a knife and what is believed to be stolen merchandise. The security guard was not hurt.
Jana Anaquod will make an appearance in court Friday morning.
