Woman arrested for pepper spraying Macy’s loss prevention
Dartmouth MA June 8 2017 Dartmouth police said a woman pepper-sprayed a security worker at a Macy’s store while she was trying to shoplift merchandise.
Ruby Mena, 29, of Providence, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police said they responded to the store Monday afternoon for a report of two women involved in an altercation with loss prevention personnel.
Police said Mena sprayed a loss prevention officer in the face with pepper-spray as she was being detained with another woman in a shoplifting investigation.
