Woman charged with punching security officer in Mercy Hospital
Buffalo NY June 20 2019 A noise complaint in the maternity ward at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital on Monday night ended with a security officer getting punched and suffering a bloody nose.
The security officer responding to a noise complaint at about 9:40 p.m. asked a woman to leave a room, but the woman “got louder and screamed more,” according to a Buffalo police report. As the guard attempted to escort the woman from the room, she hit him multiple times, causing a bloody nose and other minor injuries, according to the report.
Jaelyn E. Willis, 25, of Buffalo, was charged with felony assault of a peace officer and second-degree harassment, police said.
The security officer did not receive medical treatment for his injuries.
