Woman claimed to have a bomb at Wisconsin airport
GREEN BAY, Wis.Oct 29 2018 A woman who claimed that she had a bomb was arrested by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
The unidentified woman taken into custody after she claimed to have a bomb at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay was reportedly acting strangely prior to her announcement.
Airport directors say they called police this evening after spotting a woman who was reportedly walking outside and “acting strangely.”
When airport security confronted her, she claimed to have a bomb in her bag.
A K-9 Unit was brought in to search her bag.
The dogs searched her bag, but did not find a bomb.
The woman was believed to not be a passenger and was taken into custody on charges of making terrorist threats.
Activity at the airport went back to normal about 30 minutes later.
