Yonkers apartment security guard stabbed

Police were notified of a stabbing at a city apartment and when officers arrived they found a security guard had been injured.
The security guard at a Locust Hill Avenue residential building had been stabbed at least once and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital during the overnight hours, the police said.
The wound to the man’s thigh was non-life threatening, according to the police.
A suspect has been identified in the incident, which happened while the victim was working as a security guard at 77 Locust Hill Ave., and the police said an arrest is anticipated.
Police have not identified the victim nor the suspect by name.
The police described it as an isolated incident that was an escalation of a prior dispute.
