5 Security Officers including federal contract officer dies from COVID-19

Five security officers who have recently died from COVID-19 complications were
identified by our office this week.
A Washington DC contract security officer died on May 3rd 2020 after being
admitted to a hospital for breathing problems.
California resident Andreas Martinez who worked as a security officer died in late April
from complications of the COVID-19 virus.
A Manhattan NY federal contract security officer working at the federal courthouse, identified as Ariel Serrano died on May 7th 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 virus. He was employed by Paragon Systems, a security contractor for the Federal Protective Service.
Our office on Monday also identified two other security officers including a loss prevention agent employed by Walmart. We are currently confirming their information.
At this time, we have identified 102 security officers who have lost their lives to the COVID-19 virus.
