Boston Transit Officers quarantined after encountering COVID-19 positive security guard
BOSTON MA May 10 2020
Authorities say that several MBTA Transit Police officers are now in quarantine after coming into contact with a security guard who has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The union representing Transit Police claims the guard and officers were working in a small room in the Back Bay Station.
The union says the security company let the guard continue to work despite knowing he had been exposed to the coronavirus.
The same guard is also being investigated for assaulting a homeless man.
