Baltimore men arrested after theft, threatening security with knife at Marley Station Mall
GLEN BURNIE, Md. November 27 2019 Two Baltimore men are accused of shoplifting at Marley Station Mall yesterday afternoon, then threatening a security officer with a knife.
Anne Arundel County police said officers responded for a robbery at the JC Penney store, at about 12:40 p.m. Monday, according to a news release.
Store security said two men tried to leave with stolen merchandise.
One of the suspects allegedly displayed a knife and thrust it toward a loss prevention officer, according to the news release.
The males then fled. No injuries were reported.
Police arrested Lagary Williamson III, 19, and Antwone Jamal Legette Jr., 19. Both are from Baltimore.
Williamson is charged with robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and theft.
Legette was arrested on an open warrant.
