Burglars cut through Alabama Best Buy store roof and steal thousands of dollars of Apple products
SPANISH FORT, Ala. November 25 2021 At least two people cut a hole in the roof and dropped down through the ceiling into the Best Buy in Spanish Fort’s Eastern Shore Center during the overnight hours.
One store employee said that it was like something from a movie.
Police aren’t sure how many people were involved but said that the burglars stole Apple products.
Spanish Fort Police Chief John Barber says the burglars spent as much as two hours inside the store and “looked very comfortable” taking their time cutting through cages with power tools to get access to Apple products.
The total amount of the items stolen has not been determined yet.
Police said they do have surveillance video and they are checking the area for similar heists.
