Deputies arrest man who threatened casino security officer with large knife
Roanoke, Louisiana July 26 2021
Deputies responded to 15125 Highway 395, the Peto’s Truck Stop Casino in reference to a male armed with a knife arguing with casino security on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
As deputies arrived in the parking lot they observed the male running with a large fixed blade knife in his hand.
The male attempted to hide from law enforcement in the grassy area on the south side of the truck stop.
Deputies located and arrested the male, identified as Luke Freeman, 40, of Jennings.
Freeman was booked into the parish jail for entry or remaining on premises, obstruction of justice possession of CDS III, bringing contraband into penal facility, resisting an officer and illegal carry of weapons.
