Lens Crafters at Tysons Corner Center robbed at knife point
Fairfax County VA July 6 2017 Fairfax County police responded to several calls at the Tysons Corner Center that may be related.
Officers were notified that a robbery had occurred at the Lens Crafters store in Tysons Corner Center on June 23.
The suspects were described as black, in their mid-to-late teens, between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 9 inches tall and between 150 and 180 pounds.
Police had received an earlier alert at 8:17 p.m. regarding two suspicious men who just had walked through the Sunglass Hut in the mall. As officers were looking for them, the robbery was dispatched at the Lens Crafters.
Police say that two men, matching descriptions given in the earlier lookout, had entered the store, displayed a knife and taken dozens of pairs of eyeglasses.
Nobody was injured in the robbery.
Officers with the Tysons Urban Team canvassed the area but no arrests were made.
