Man picked fight with Colorado security officer and lost

A man possible high on drugs, picked a fight with the wrong guy according to police.
Police were called to a parking garage near 2nd and Court just before 4 a.m. Saturday on reports of a fight and “a man on the ground moaning.”
Once on scene, they discovered the suspect picked a fight with a security guard after the security officer asked him to leave the garage.
The man refused and became aggressive with the security officer and started a fight that he lost when the security officer pepper-sprayed him.
The officers caught up with the suspect as he was trying to get out of the area and were told he was just visiting the city.
“The man said he came into town to get help after his father smoked all his meth and took all his money,” Capt. Tom Rummel said in a tweet over the incident.
The suspect asked to be taken to the hospital to be treated for the effects of the pepper spray.
He has been cited for instigating the fight with the security guard.
