Man who broke into High Point University, attempted to sexually assault students convicted
HIGH POINT, N.C. Jan 20 2024 A man who was arrested for attempting to sexually assault two High Point University students has been found guilty.
In 2021, Phillippe Joseph Warren Saieed drove to the High Point University campus and broke into a dormitory, where he attempted to sexually assault two students who fought him off.
He was arrested hours later and served warrants for two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of assault on a female and two counts of attempted first-degree rape.
A jury found him guilty on several counts, including two counts of attempted first-degree rape. He was sentenced to at least twenty-four years in prison.
