National company deploying security robots to fight Covid-19
SAN ANTONIO TX April 6 2020 – A national company is deploying robots to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
Cobalt Robots are a security guard replacement for businesses. The robots can detect threats, while employees are working at home during the pandemic.
The indoor robots are equipped with WIFI, cameras and have environmental sensors.
They can monitor air quality, CO2, and temperature. The service is subscription based.
Fox San Antonio learned the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking into the possibility of using them.
