Police investigating aggravated robbery at Target near Ohio State’s campus
COLUMBUS, Ohio November 3 2019— Columbus police is investigating a robbery at a Target near Ohio State’s campus on Saturday.
According to police, the suspect was caught on surveillance camera putting items into his coat shortly before 11 a.m. at the Target on North High Street.
Security stopped the suspect before he was able to leave the store. The suspect reached for his waistband and claimed to have a gun. Security backed away and the suspect left the store.
The suspect was also caught on camera stealing items from the store the day before but was not caught.
Ohio State police also responded to the scene and issued a safety alert for students.
The suspect is described as a black male, 45-55 years old, 6’2” and around 200 pounds. He was seen with a puffy, black coat, black headband, orange and black Orioles baseball hat, gray pants and white tennis shoes.
