It is our pleasure today to announce who the recipient of the 2017 Founder’s Award is.

The Founder’s Award is annually bestowed upon a member of Private Officer International for their professionalism, dedication of service to the private security profession and support to the POI organization.

This year, Hiram Libby of San Jose California has been selected because he exemplifies all of these qualities and much more.

Hiram is the owner of Valiant Private Security and he has spent more than a decade protecting life and property. He is a true professional who has excelled not only in his business model but in areas of training, community involvement and support and he is a person who is truly committed to excellence in all that he does.

Over the years, Hiram has supported our Private Officer Memorial Services and our training initiatives and has himself earned the Certified Asset Protection Professional designation.

We are very proud of this member and all that he has accomplished personally and professionally.
