Security Officer Shot to Death at Family Dollar
FLINT, Mich. May 3 2020 – A security officer was shot and killed at a Family Dollar in Flint, according to Michigan State Police.
Lt. David Kaiser says cars were dispatched to the store on Fifth Avenue around 2 p.m. on Friday.
The suspect ran into the high-rise apartments behind the store.
The security officer was shot in the head in the doorway of the store. Kaiser says he died at the hospital.
The suspect is described as a thin man, wearing black faded jeans, a black sweatshirt, and black and white tennis shoes.
