Shoplifting suspect accused of biting officer at Sam’s Club
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -Dec 6 2017Â Â A woman was arrested after she allegedly shoplifted at a Sam’s Club, fought employees and bit an officer while being detained.
According to Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies responded to the store in the 300 block of East Richey Road on Monday.
Deputies say they arrived and found Melony Hollins had concealed over $500 in merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying.
When she was confronted by loss prevention officers, she allegedly became violent and bit one of the officers while being detained.
Hollins was charged with robbery and her bond was set at $20,000.
